📖 How I Solved It

So, I sat down to tackle puzzle #571, and I was feeling pretty good until I hit the combo clue: 'Two-word phrase for people who get up at the very beginning of the day.' I thought, 'Okay, this has to be something simple,' but all I could come up with was 'morning people', which obviously didn’t fit. I didn't see the connection to 'EARLYBIRDS' until I went through the word ladder. The tricky part was getting from 'EARLY' to 'BIRDS' without totally losing the plot. I made a couple of wrong guesses like 'EARL' that didn’t lead anywhere, but once I figured out that noblemen clue, I could start chaining them together. It was a bit of a brain workout, but that's what I love about these puzzles!
